Where are Lowcountry Lanterns products manufactured and are they UL approved?
Our products are proudly made in the USA and are UL approved.
What size gas piping should my plumber use?
All lanterns are plumbed to accept ΒΌβ OD copper tubing with flare fitting.
How many BTUs per hour will natural gas and propane lanterns use?
Series 1 & 2 natural gas lanterns use 3451 BTUs per hour; series 3 natural gas lanterns use 4854 BTUs per hour. Series 1 & 2 propane gas lanterns use 2800 BTUs per hour; series 3 propane gas lanterns use 4854 BTUs per hour.
Will I be able to install my gas lantern indoors?
All natural gas and propane gas lanterns equipped with either electronic ignition or automatic shutoff valve are C.S.A. Certified to comply with ANSI Standard Z21.42 for indoor or outdoor use.
What material is used to make our lanterns?
All lanterns are constructed of 16 oz., 20 oz. and 32 oz. copper. Double strength glass is standard.
Can you create a custom lantern or light from Lowcountry Lanterns?
Yes, if you can provide us a drawing or an idea of what you would like we can have technical drawing composed.
What mounting options can I get my lantern in?
Most of our lanterns can be mounted on the wall, post or hung. We can also offer custom mounts so if you need something specific that you need please let us know.
Where will you ship lanterns?
We will ship your lanterns to your business or directly to your home. You have a 24hr window to inspect and report any concealed damages to your lantern. Any lanterns shipped by motor freight that have noticeable damages to the box should be refused.
Do you offer trade discounts to builders, designers, or developers?

How long will it take to build my lantern?
Most lanterns take 6-8 weeks to build and ship, times may vary depending on lantern.
